about me

hey, i’m kay!

I’m a creative and LGBTQ+ consultant based in Cardiff, South Wales. I’m originally from Stoke-on-Trent, and I moved to Cardiff in 2016 when I started studying at the University of South Wales.

I’ve been a jack of all trades in that I’ve bounced from one opportunity to another, trying to learn and absorb as much as I can about the world. From working in retail to being elected Vice President of a Students’ Union. From volunteering with a mutual aid organisation to delivering trans awareness training at a Welsh Government conference.

I want to be the change that I want to see. Iā€™m queer, trans and non-binary myself, and have experienced lots of barriers in education, work, and even when trying to enjoy my free time, so I want to work to support organisations to make change in their spaces.

If I can be the person doing the work so that other LGBTQ+ people can go about their lives a little easier – then that makes it all worthwhile!
